FMGE is a screening test for Foreign Medical Graduates to get a provisional or permanent registration from Medical Council of India or the state medical council to practice in India. FMGE is conducted by the National Broad of Examination. Foreign Medical Graduates Examination is hosted twice a year in the month of June and December. Any student can apply for this exam if he/she has studied MBBS in Abroad from a recognized medical university.
If you want to know the exam pattern of FMGE if you download the practice test paper provided by the National Boards of Examination (NBE). So, you can practice the practice paper and get acquainted to the FMGE. The Question paper is divided into 2 parts of 300 minutes. Part A- 150 minutes and Part B- 150 minutes. Both parts are taken in one single day only. You need to be really fast for your answers because you get only 300 minutes for all the 300 questions. The question paper is computer-based and in English.
Candidates have to carry one of their Id proofs to the exam center. This year there are 26 cities in India that are hosting the examination. Any change of examination center’s request would not be taken into consideration. If a candidate fails to attend the exam the application fee will also not get forfeited.
