National Testing Agency which is the regulatory body of NEET 2020 has to issue the official answer key for NEET 2020. This year, after postponing this examination many times, the agency has finally conducted it on the 13th of September amid the pandemic. As per the National Testing Agency, approx 80-90% of candidates have successfully given the examination. All the safety measures were followed by all the students as well as the staff at the time of the examination. Now, the students are waiting for the results but before announcing the results, the National Testing Agency will be issuing the answer key, response sheet and question paper for the candidates.
If you want to download the answer key you will have to visit NTA’s official website. Find the link for the answer key there. Once you found it just click on the link, a login window will open. Enter the NEET 2020 application number, and also the password. In the dashboard displayed to you, you can find the link for the answer key, OMR sheet and question paper.
Now using the question paper and OMR sheet you can check how many of your answers are right and wrong. This OMR sheet will have the answers you have marked in the examination. Finally, the answer key will help you to know how many answers you have done correctly.
NTA’s OMR sheet is open for challenges. If any students find something wrong with the answers, they are free to submit the representation against it. Once the candidates submit the object regarding the answers the agency will verify and if it is found right they will make changes in the answer key. The updated answer key will be the final key and based on it the results will be made.
More than 15 lakh students have registered for NEET 2020. This is an offline examination and this is why the preparation of the answer key takes time. Mostly the results of NEET is released after a month of the examination but this year we are in dilemma about the result declaration date. If NTA follows the last year's pattern then we can expect the result on the 13th of October. We wish you luck with your results. May all your hard work payoff.
