About University 

Emilio Aguinaldo College was founded in 1957 by Dr Paulo C. Campos (President of the University Physicians’ Services Inc. (UPSI); is considered as one of the Top Medical Universities in Philippines for pursuing MD (Doctor of Medicine), which is equivalent to MBBS in India. EAC is famous for offering a wide range of high-quality teaching and extra-curricular activities. It has two campuses- one in Manila and the other one in Cavite. The former name for the University was Marian College and on September 1977, it was renamed as General Emilio Aguinaldo College, to apply to both Manila and Cavite Campuses. The main campus teaching hospital is known as Medical Center, Manilla.

The College is located in the heart of Manila. It is a private, non-sectarian, co-educational academic institution that offers rigorous professional courses open to both domestic and international students, coming from different parts of the world.

EAC also has an accredited science foundation for scientific research by the Department of Science and Technology in 1995. This certification was renewed in 2017.

The College nurtures a diverse student body from different cultures, traditions and establishes partnerships with various training institutions for authentic, advanced learning experiences.

Accommodation

The College provides well-equipped and comfortable accommodation for the enrolled students. Well-furnished hostel with television, refrigerator, telephone services, washing machine, air-conditioning and other basic amenities.

The on-campus student dormitory is available for foreign students. Indian dining is also available for students studying Medicine at the College.

Student Life

The management of the College strongly believes in the holistic development of its students through various cultural and sports activities that are organized in the college campus on a regular basis that also keeps the students fit- both physically & mentally.

Sports facilities in the College consist of a Basketball Court, Gymnastics area, Running Track, Swimming Pool, Tennis Court, etc.

  • Manila is the capital city of Philippines, located in Bayside on the island of Luzon, which mixes the Spanish colonial architecture with modern skyscrapers. 
  • Negritos, the aboriginal inhabitants of the Philippines, lived across the island of Luzon, where Manila is located before the Malayo-Polynesians migrated in and assimilated them.
  • Three largest economic sectors in Manila are Industry, Service, and Agriculture. Manufacturing, Mining, Mineral Processing, Pharmaceuticals, Ship Building, Electronics and Semi-conductors are the focus areas. 
  • Manila has a tropical savanna climate bordering closely on a tropical monsoon climate.
  • Major attractions of the city are Walled city of Intramuros, the Cultural Center of the Philippines Complex, Manila Ocean Park, Binondo (Chinatown), Ermita, Malate, National Museum Complex, etc.
  • Transportation in Manila - one of the most famous modes of transportation in Manila is Jeepney (simply called jeeps, buses). On a for-hire basis, the city is served by numerous taxicabs, "tricycles" (motorcycles with sidecars, the Philippine version of the auto rickshaw), and "trisikads" or "sikads", which are also known as "kuligligs" (bicycles with a sidecar, the Philippine version of Pedicabs).
  • The main terminal of the Philippine National Railways lies within the city.
  • Famous cuisines of Manila are Chicken adobo, Balut, Kinilaw, Tapsilog, Halo Halo, Kare Kare, etc. 
  • Popular restaurants in Manila are Spiral, Li Li, The Aristocrat Restaurant, Sky Deck, etc.
  • Indian restaurants are also available in Manila- Assad’s Café, Banana Leaf Curry House, Kashmir, Citrus, Restaurant & Lounge and many others
