Good news for all the foreign medical graduates, the date for Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) 2019 has been released by the National Board of Examination. The FMGE 2019 December session examination will be held on December 20, 2019, in 26 cities across the countries. The result for the same will be announced on January 20, 2019, on the official website of the NBA.
All foreign medical graduates need to have a primary medical qualification authenticated by the Indian Embassy of that specific country to be eligible to get them registered for the FMGE 2019 December session.
All eligible candidates who have filled FMGE 2019 December session application form which was released on October 11, 2019, can download the admit cards from NBE official website. The admit cards will be available from December 13, 2019, onwards.
Important notice to those students who have not filled the application form, they still have the time to fill the application form. The application forms are available till October 30, 2019, on the official website of the National Board of Examination.
From December 1, 2019, the National Board of Examination will start the facility of practice tests for the FMGE 2019 December session for all the registered candidates. This practice test will allow the students to have better knowledge and understanding of how the actual exam will be.
Foreign Medical Graduate Examination is a medical licensing and screening exam held twice in a year, in the month of June and December. National Board of Examination is the regulatory boards, responsible for conducting this licensing examination. Foreign medical graduates and Overseas Citizens of Indian (OCI) who want to practice their medical career in India have to qualify for this screening examination. All the qualifying medical graduates will be eligible to get a permanent or provisional registration with the Medical Council of India in order to continue the practice of their medical career in the country.
