News report on complete analysis of NEET 2020

This year around a total of 15.97 lakh registered for NEET-UG 2020 out of which around 85-90% appeared for the exam held on September 13th. Those who could not appear on September 13th got another chance to appear on 14th October. Out of 15.97 lakh candidates, 716586 were male candidates, 880843 were female candidates and 6 transgenders. As per the NEET-UG 2020 result analysis, there has been an increase of 5.14% of candidates who appeared for NEET 2020 as compared to last year.

As per NEET-UG 2020 result analysis, 15,97,435 appeared for the exam, out of which 771500 students qualified the exam (4,27,943 girls and 3,43,556 boys).

Overall NEET-UG 2020 Result Analysis- Main Highlights of the Exam!

This year there has been a 5.14% increase in the number of candidates registered for NEET- UG 2020. The total number of candidates registered this year was 15, 19,435 whereas in 2019 the total number of candidates registered were 15,9,345.

Important information for medical aspirants who are planning to study MBBS in Abroad!

As per the guidelines issued by MCI (Medical Council of India) from 2019 onwards, Indian Medical aspirants who are planning to study MBBS in Abroad need to clear NEET-UG 2020 with qualifying marks in order to seek admission in any Government or Private Medical Universities of Abroad.

NEET 2020 Result Analysis- Top Performing States

If we compare NEET-UG 2020 result with that of NEET- UG 2019 result, Chandigarh was the top-performing state, with 75.64 percent candidates qualifying the exam, followed by Delhi with 75.49 percent candidates cleared the exam.

NEET 2020 Result Analysis- Toppers

Soyeb Aftab, from Odisha bags NEET AIR 1 ranks by attaining 720 out of the total 720 marks. He outperformed over 15, 19,435 lakh candidates who appeared in NEET-UG 2020 conducted by NTA on September 13, 2020. Akansha Singh secured NEET AIR 2 rank with a total score of 720 marks followed by Tummala Snikitha who secured NEET AIR 3 rank with the same 715 marks.

As declared by NTA, there has been a 51.69% percent increase in the number of centres and 0.65 percent in the number of cities where NEET- UG 2020 was conducted as NEET-UG 2019.

NEET- UG 2020 result is the way to seek admission in nearly 95000 MBBS and BDS seats offered by Government and Private Medical and Dental colleges across India excluding for AIIMS and JIPMER as these two institutions are not in NEET-UG ambit.

Options after NEET-UG 2020 Results

Total number of qualified students for NEET-UG 2020 = 7,71500
Total number of available seats in India = 95,000 (MBBS & BDS)
The number of NEET-UG 2020 qualified students, who will not get seats in India = 6,76,500
Therefore only 12% NEET-UG 2019 qualified students will get the seat. What about the rest of NEET-UG 2020 qualified students?
