Russia and India Hopeful for Mutual Recognition of Academic Degrees

Recently, the World Youth Festival brought together young innovative minds worldwide from February 29th to March 7th, 2024, in Sochi. At the event, Denis Alipov expressed optimism about a potential agreement between India and Russia for mutual recognition of academic degrees. Alipov stated, "We are optimistic about reaching an agreement with India that would ensure mutual recognition of our degrees," in light of the increasing number of Indian students pursuing higher education in Russia.

Such recognition would enable professionals from both countries to practice without additional courses. Alipov noted that Russia has issued visas to over 8,000 Indian students.

Russia hosted the World Youth Festival where over 20,000 people from around 190 countries participated.
