Tough times never last but tough people do.
November 7 is marked as a very special day across India as the National Cancer Awareness Day. Did you know? In India, the most common types of cancers are oral cancers in males, and cervical and breast cancer in females. Although dangerous, it is possible to cure these forms of cancer if they are detected at an early stage. Moreover, cervical cancer is even preventable by taking the right kinds of measures.
Hope doesn’t simply make a difference, it fights back.
Over the years, medical sciences have made impressive advancements towards the prevention and cure of deadly diseases. However, there is a greater need for spreading awareness about them to help people be prepared with the right kind of information to fight back. It is thus imperative that people be educated about cancer in order to prevent it or detect it at a pre-cancerous stage. For the unaware, Cancer, uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells in the body, develops when the body's normal control mechanism stops working. When instead of dying, old cells grow out of control and form new abnormal cells, they at times may form a mass of tissue, known as a tumor.
While different patients get different recommendations for treatment based on the individual case, there are, however, some common methods that are taken into account for the treatment of Cancer.
The most important aspect to be kept in mind while treating cancer is the importance of faith and patience. Having a positive mindset at times helps people fight their diseases with a stronger will. Thus, on this National Cancer Awareness Day, let’s make a pledge to educate ourselves and be prepared for a stronger fight against any and all forms of cancer.
