The Vande Bharat Mission phase 3

    Vande Bharat Mission phase 3 is going to start soon! The Indian government is taking all measures that can help Indians worldwide. The last two phases of the Vande Bharat mission have been successful with the repatriation of more than 50.000 stranded Indians. The second phase of the Vande Bharat Mission was supposed to be ended on 22 May but the government has extended the mission till the 13th of June. The government is trying to bring back more and more Indians who are stranded abroad.

    From the 10th of June, Phase 3 of this mission will be commenced. This announcement was made by the Civil Aviation Minister, Mr. Hardeep Singh Puri through a tweet. There would be more flights that will be added to the Vande Bharat mission.

    The Phase 3 mission will start on 10th June and end on the 1st of July 2020. From the USA to Canada, Air India would regulate 70 flights. The booking of flight tickets will start on the 5th of June. Some domestic flights will also be regulated during this third phase of lockdown but it would only be for international travelers.

    Total flights that would be regulated for repatriating stranded Indians will be 559. Out of this, 203 fights will be sent from India to international destinations and 356 flights will repatriate travelers from abroad to India.

    All the information about the flights has been provided to you in our description box. All the travelers will have to pay for their own expenses which include the cost of traveling and also for the 14 days quarantine facility that is mandatory after reaching India.

    The first phase of Vande Bharat Mission started from May 7th, 2020 to help Indian nationals who are stranded abroad.
