Application Form Released to Obtain ELigibility Certificate

On March 04, 2024, a public notification regarding the online application for the Eligibility Certificate for Foreign Medical Students was released by the National Medical Commission. According to the NMC, in order to apply for the June 2024 Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) Screening Test, Indian medical students studying abroad are required to get an Eligibility Certificate. Candidates can apply online through the NMC official website from March 5 to April 30, 2024.

Furthermore, an advisory has been released by the NMC regarding foreign medical graduates and students who must possess the eligibility certificate. The NMC has advised the following recommended actions for the applicants:

1. Candidates are advised to fill out the form themselves in order to avoid mistakes at the time of application.
2. Make sure that all documents are kept ready before filling out the application form for the Eligibility Certificate.
3. To ensure timely updates and notifications from NMC regarding any essential information or corrections on the application form, kindly provide the valid and ative phone number and email ID.
4. Ensure all details are duly filled and correct before submitting the application form.
