The admission test for admission into the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course in government or private colleges for the academic year 2023-2024 will be held on 9th February 2024. And, the admission test for the Bachelor of Dental Surgery is scheduled to be held on March 8.
This decision came after a meeting at the Health Ministry on 24th December 2023 presided by Zahid Maleque, Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Bangladesh. Moreover, the minister further stated that the coaching institutes should remain closed one month before the examination.
Proactive students can submit their application form to the MBBS course before 23rd January and submit their fees by 24th January 2024. Moreover, international students can apply to appear in the admission test till 4th January and the students from the country can apply for the admission test from 11 to 23 January 2023. However, the application deadline for the BDS course is yet to be announced. Further, the roll number and the seating arrangement will be made available for students by 26th January 2024, and, the issuance of admit card is scheduled for 5th February 2024. Public and private medical institutions have a combined total of 11,728 open seats this year.
