6,591 Seats Available For MCC NEET SS Counselling 2025 round 2

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has recently announced the final number of seats for the 2nd round of counselling for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Super Speciality (NEET SS) for the year 2025. 

The total number of seat matrix includes newly added seats, vacant seats as well as virtual vacant seats. 

As per the official notice, NEET SS Seat Matrix 2025, 6,591 seats are available for Round 2. Out of these, 133 seats are newly added, 1,858 are vacant, and 4,600 seats are virtually vacant. 

The seat matrix for getting admission into the MCh, DM and Dr DNB is released in a PDF format on the official website of MCC - https://mcc.nic.in/. It contains important details like the Institute, the name of the state, the branch, the quota, the category and the total number of seats.

The NEET SS round 2 counselling for 2025 began on Mar 28, 2026. It is scheduled to end by Apr 16, 2026. 

The Choice Filling process will start from Mar 29, 2026 and will continue till Apr 4, 2026. Following this, the seat allocation will begin from Apr 5, 2026, and the results will come out on April 7, 2026.
