The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has launched post-MBBS two-year diploma courses in nine broad specialties for the 2024-25 academic session. These specialties include Anesthesiology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Family Medicine, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology (ENT), Radio Diagnosis, Tuberculosis & Chest Disease, and Emergency Medicine.
Hospitals seeking accreditation with NBEMS for post-MBBS two-year diploma courses in the above-mentioned specialization programs are invited to submit their application form through an Online Accreditation Application Portal (OAAP). Applicants are requested to carefully read the information bulletin on the NBEMS website regarding filling up the application form, accreditation fee, and minimum accreditation criteria.
Kindly note that the submission of online applications will commence on the 16th of January 2024 and will continue until the 15th of March 2024. The last date for receiving the receipt of the hard copy of the application form at the NBEMS office is the 29th of March 2024. Please ensure that all necessary documents are submitted within the specified timeline to avoid any inconvenience.
This move is expected to pave the way for greater specialization and competency in medical education in India.
