According to the official notice released by NTA, the deadline for submitting the application form has now been extended to March 11, 2026, until 9:00 PM. The decision aims to ensure that all eligible candidates receive a fair opportunity to apply for the national-level medical entrance examination.
With the extension in place, candidates can now submit their NEET UG 2026 application form until 9:00 PM on March 11, 2026. In addition, the application fee payment window will remain open until 11:50 PM on the same day.
This means that students who submit their application forms before the 9:00 PM deadline will still have time later in the evening to complete their payment process. Applicants are advised to finish both steps well before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues such as heavy website traffic or payment failures.
While announcing the extension, NTA has clearly mentioned in its notice that no further extension will be granted after the revised deadline. Candidates are therefore strongly advised not to wait until the last moment to complete their application process.
