New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the schedule for NEET UG 2026, the national entrance examination for undergraduate medical admissions in India. The exam will be conducted on May 3, 2026 (Sunday) in a single shift from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM in offline mode.
The online registration process will begin on February 8, 2026, and candidates will be able to submit their applications until March 8, 2026. A short correction window is expected to be available in mid-March for applicants who need to make permitted changes in their submitted forms.
The question paper will consist of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology). All questions will be multiple-choice with one correct answer. Each correct response carries four marks, while one mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
