NTA Releases Advisory For NEET 2026 Dress Code & Permissible Items

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an advisory for candidates appearing in the NEET UG 2026 regarding dress code and permissible items at the examination centres.

The NEET UG 2026 will be held on May 3, 2026, from 2-5 pm, in pen and paper mode.

Items That You Can Carry:

Students can carry a transparent water bottle into the exam hall so they stay comfortable, while still following security rules. They should not bring extra or unnecessary items, as this can slow down the entry process.

What You Can Wear

Candidates are allowed to wear light clothing. However, they can also wear full sleeves or woollens if they feel the need to. But they must make sure that they reach the centre well in advance to enable a smooth frisking process.

When it comes to footwear, candidates are allowed to wear slippers or low-heeled shoes.

Further, they are also allowed to wear any articles or objects of faith as the advisory respects their belief. However, they must report to the centre early to cooperate with further security checks.

Important Guidelines

Candidates must report to the centre well in advance to cooperate with the frisking process and to avoid any delays.

All candidates are advised to strictly follow these instructions and cooperate with the staff for the smooth running of the examination.

We wish all the best to the candidates appearing for NEET UG 2026.
