Following the instruction of the Honorable Supreme Court, the National Medical Council released an official notice on 5th December 2023 extending the MBBS admission deadline. This is in response to the Diary No. 45004 of 2023 filed by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. A Special Stray Vacancy Round has been scheduled for the vacant MBBS seats of AIQ and Stare Quota. Colleges or DMEs have been directed to ensure the MBBS admission complies with the NMC regulations and have to upload the student's name to the NMC portal
It is hereby informed that only registered students whose names have been uploaded on the NMC portal will be considered for valid admission making them eligible for future registration to practice allopathy in India after meeting all the eligibility criteria from time to time.
This development marks a step forward in ensuring a fair and transparent process for medical admission.
