National medical commission (NMC) on Thursday 26 October 2023 issued a notice for all the medical students who wish to appear for the Foreign Medical Graduate Exam (FMGE). According to the notification the exam will be held in the month of January 2024, but the exact date of examination is yet to be fixed. As of now no date has been informed. Usually FMGE is conducted in December but this time the exam has been postponed till January 2024 for reasons unknown.
In view of such a situation students are advised to refer and visit the official National Board of Examination in Medical Science (NBEMS) website for the final schedule of the examination.
