On Monday, 6th May 2019, NTA (National Testing Agency) announced the revised date for the NEET 2019 exam which was postponed in Odisha due to the impact of cyclone Fani. The NEET 2019 exam will be conducted on 20th May 2019 from 10 AM to 1 PM on the same allocated Examination Centres.
On the request of State Government of Odisha, the NEET 2019 exam that was scheduled on 5th May 2019 in Odisha was postponed as the State Government were working on the relief and rehabilitation work in the wake of cyclone Fani (pronounced as Foni). On 3rd May the cyclone hit the coast near Puri during morning time.
On 4th May 2019 (Saturday), R. Subrahmanyam, Higher Education Secretary announced that the revised dates for NEET (UG) 2019 will be announced soon. On Monday, 6th May 2019, he tweeted the “#NEET exam for Odisha will be held on 20th May @CMO_Odisha @HRDMinistry.”
NTA will soon issue the revised admit card for 20th May 2019 for NEET 2019 Examination. Students are advised to download their revised admit cards from www.ntaneet.nic.in or www.nta.ac.in once they get uploaded on the official website.
Students are advised to visit the official website for all the important and mandatory Notices/Updates/Addendum/Corrigendum.
