Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, schools, colleges, and other educational institutions have been doing their best to provide adequate and excellent education to all the students without any restraint. The outbreak of the Pandemic has clearly forced every individual and even other sectors to adapt to the new environment. Among the other sectors, the Central Board of Secondary Education has also been forced to adopt the new scheme where the Board examination for classes 10 & 12 are divided into 2 parts. The 1st term for the CBSE Board Exam for classes 10 and 12 will begin in November - December 2021. While the 2nd term of the examination will be conducted in March - April 2022.
This split allows the CBSE Board to conduct 50% of the syllabus in each term. The questions for the first term examination will include the MCQ-type questions as well as reasoning-type MCQ questions.
The duration of the examination will be of 90 minutes or 1 hour 30 minutes.
The CBSE Board has started preparing for the examination which includes the candidates’ list, releasing the date sheet, allocation of the examination center, and evaluation process. The CBSE term 1 Board Examination 2022 will be conducted offline and the evaluation of the answer sheet will be done on the same day.

Furthermore, all other internal tests, examinations, and practical exams for term 1 will be conducted by the schools accordingly. For term 2, the practical exam will be conducted by the CBSE Board.
