The National Medical Commission (NMC), earlier allowed the Indian students who have joined the Foreign Medical Universities for their MBBS Degree to obtain the Eligibility Certificate to be able to practice medicine in India. The Application for the same ended on March 31, 2022 (before 11:59 PM).
After a thorough consideration, the NMC has decided to extend the application date from April 5, 2022 to April 7, 2022. Eligible students who were unable to apply for Eligibility Certificate earlier, can apply for the same till April 7, 2022.
